Crafty Like a Fox

I've always loved art and have always loved crafts. And recently I've decided to step up my game with both! Here are my most recent crafts from V-Day!

Loving Love

Hard to believe husband and I are celebrating our 7th Valentine's Day together and 4th as man and wife! Being that the German's don't really celebrate the holiday we weren't sure what we wanted to do. I knew I wanted to make a great brunch. So we brunched and exchanged gifts. James treated me to a v-day present scavenger hunt, so silly and fun. And what did I find at the end...something from Emporio Armani! Way to go, husband! Shortly after, we treated the dogs to a love day surprise and went playing in the fresh snow! What a treat for us all! Later that afternoon we headed to our local flower shop to construct a beautiful v-day bouquet! Our evening consisted of a quiet, cozy dinner at our favorite local restaurant, Rosemarin.
We hope everyone's holiday was as special as ours!

Our sweet little brunch table, Paleo Pumpkin Pancakes, and Paleo Egg Muffins.

There's nothing more beautiful than fresh flowers!
Snow was falling all day! So cold, but so romantic!
My two furry best friends!

London Trip

Over the past four days we've been traveling! The pups went to the sitter and husband and I went to London! Though we've been before, we excited to be back! London is such a great town!

Night 1

We arrived in London to our hotel very late on Sunday night. By the time we got settled it was near 11pm and we hadn't had dinner yet. Since the tube stops running very early, we decided to try to find something to locally. This was a mistake! Everything closes so early on Sundays! So we settled for a cool atmosphere and cold cocktails. Luckily enough we were so tired it wasn't too tough to fall asleep hungry!

Day 2

Up and at them bright and early! We had a traditional English breakfast in our hotel and we were off to the Adamina Spa for massages. It was such a beautiful and relaxing experience. A perfect way to start a trip. Following the spa we made a beeline for Chipotle! James hadn't had it in over a year and it's been about 5 months for me. It was just as good as we remembered! The rest of the day we strolled about the cold city, shopping, talking and stopping at pubs! We went back to the room for a rest. And hit up a British pub for football, fish and chips and fun!

Day 3

Woke up early again today to head out to the downtown farmers market called the Borough Market. It's comprised with hundreds of shops and restaurants. Though it was cold, being an open air market, it was still rather impressive. We stopped at the Cafe Brood for another traditional English breaky! So good! After the market we headed to the British Museum. A very impressive, large museum housing the famous Rosetta Stone. After the museum we headed to where else, Chipotle for lunch! Had a little rest then off to Maxwell's for dinner and the Lyceum Theatre for The Lion King! Though I'd scene it before, I was still moved by the performance and was very happy that James enjoyed it too! It was early to bed that night as we had an early bus to catch!

 Day 4

Up at 4am to catch our bus to Stansted airport! So early, but we were ready to get home. An easy flight and we were back in Stuttgart. We ran our errands and picked up the pups, who had an awesome time with Johnny! The rest of the day was spent cuddled on the couch trying to stay warm in these frigid temperatures!

The trip was lovely, it was great to get away, but there's no place like home!

Fun New Things

Sometimes living overseas sucks, mostly when it comes to ordering products online. Delivery could be 2 weeks or 2 months! But for some reason lots of new things have come our way! A couple we ordered, one I put together and one I got 2nd hand! Check it out!
This striking fellow is my Grandpa Horn, he's only be gone 4 months now and we all miss him so much. I adore this photo of him. This frame was a gift from him and my Gram, so I thought it was fitting.
New tealight holder, matches my ongoing blue theme
 So simple.
My awesome new Inov-8 gym shoes. So lightweight, breathable and comfy!
This lamp could not be more perfect for my living room. Shopping for a new end table next week for this to go on!

I'm loving all our the new editions to our home and can't wait to find the perfect place for each of them!

London Calling!!

Hip, hip, cheerio! We're off to foggy London town in a few short days!

Does this mean we're adults?

James and I jumped on our income taxes as soon as all of our documents were available. Though it whips out an entire evening, we're thrilled to be done and couldn't be more happier with the outcome! We had to celebrate!
