The weekends are always my favorite. Let me rephrase that, James' four days off are always my favorite! This week it so happened to fall over the weekend. This weekend was dedicated to fun with family and friends! Thursday we had to say goodbye to our friend, Caroline, who is now deployed to Uganda. We'll miss her a lot and wish for a safe and speedy return!
We were also more than happy to spend a night out with our friend, Kyle, and his lovely new girlfriend. We all enjoyed a great dinner and cocktails at our friends' bar, Schwarz Weiss.
Since it was a cold, gray weekend, my favorite moments were spent at home! The family cuddle sesh while watching Casablanca, one of my favorites, making homemade dogs treats from this recipe, and these homemade Paleo zucchini brownies. The brownies were great, satisfied the sweet craving without adding too many extra calories or too much sugar.
Overall it was a great weekend at the Fox haus!
